It's been bothering me for a while. What are the symptoms of the batteries of a tablet pen running out?
It's glitching and it's almost 2 years old so it's about time the batteries should get replaced. I have my doubts though, seeing as a button on it doesn't work either - it doesn't click. Could have happened during a fall... In which case, "oops". It could be the nib too although it's not totally short.
As I draw, it stops working periodically but revives after I thrash about or wait. A simple pressure-click seems to work somewhat though and the remaining other button too.
Anyone see anything familiar here?
Edit: Changing the pen nib didn't help. The buttons might be the problem... And something else. I can move the cursor around but I can't drag things or draw lines... Rather than batteries or nibs, it seems that there's something up with the inner-workings. Though I hope not!
I'm not sure what might have went wrong- did you drop it on the floor or something at some point? o3o Go to your nearest Apple store and maybe they can help you fix it?
It could also be that your driver is corrupted.
Or it could be that your tablet is on it's last legs.
I've killed several tablets so far, and I've almost had my pen die on me.
But, all these tablets were wacoms that I killed.
I found this on you type of tablet?
"Pen uses a AAA battery. It has two buttons, one for scrolling and the other for right-click menus."
So that could be the problem.
Yeah, that sounds right although I can change what the buttons do.
