Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I have 2 weeks to do a major scientific research project thing that was supposed to have been worked on over one and a half years

Oh yes I'm a very intelligent human being who doesn't procrastinate at all

One of the annoying problems with this is that I have met my work supervisor only once - to get her agreement to be one for me. Thus, I am too embarrassed to go see her. Thank glee for e-mail...

Otherwise, it doesn't seem to be too much of a problem. I have fellow procrastinators to lean on and everything, haha. It's hard to get serious work done though since I don't have a lot of experience with dry, boring text. Not without emoticons, at least.

I'm gonna see if I can get a deadline extension based on the fact that the last year was wasted due to confusion about whether our class had to do one or not. I wish we didn't. I've always hated these things. I believe I've whined about "project week" on dA before.

On the bright side, after the hell of this thing it'll be smooth sailing. The only obstacles are the exams, which have never ever scared me. Except the oral ones. I hate, hate, HAAAAAATE being evaluated face-to-face.

Um. Yeah. I've gotten this out of my system so... I shall go now. I hope you guys are having less stressful thoughts

Ah, it's not difficult. Just takes a bit of historical and social investigation. Under Pres. Carter's leadership, inflation increased from 6% to 12%, and businesses were struggling. Plus there was an oil crisis in the late 1970's. Iran was one of our main providers, and just before elections, there was a hostage situation in Iran, which Carter failed to resolve. Failure in Iran = failure in the oil industry, because increasing tension would make business there much more difficult. Therefore, elect a president with a spine and has the exact opposite economic ideology of Carter. The answer: Ronald Reagan.

It's funny because during his inagural address, the hostages were released.

Everyone and their mother knows Carter's a pushover. New president? ACK! Run away!

It's fun to investigate these things. The worst part is organizing the info on a 2+ page paper. And making it seem ~~dry~~ professional. Hope you enjoyed the history lesson xD *is bricked*
